Photoshop Tutorial on creating a Horror Image

I would use this 'bloody wall' effect for my poster to create an eerie feel. I would most likely use this as my entire poster background, to give a dark feel to my poster and to show clearly I was creating a horror and connotate a slasher horror. This tutorial is helpful as it explains clearly step by step what to do, and this effect would connotate fear and helplessness which is exactly what needs to be achieved with a horror.
